The plow is a Ford Model 101. I picked it up at a good price after giving up finding a AC plow. Originally was 3 bottoms, Ford made it easy to reconfigure into 1 or 2 bottom.
The sound is not that great for some reason, but I am at 1/4 throttle or so. The tractor just pulls it so easy. I did a lot the other day that made it grunt, it was compacted soil near a barn that had grass roots as deep as I could plow.

?? Not my video but one I saved because the guy knows what he is doing. Plows dont have brains, that part is supplied by adjuster/operator. [TUBE]QqtxfcTyGrg[/TUBE] |

I can plow as good as any, Butch, I was just referring to the AC plow's propensity to be persnickety... If you don't believe me , watch the last seconds of the video you posted...

I did not take a poke at any one person's brains, just said plows dont have them,
![]() The guy knows what is is doing and the plow is set right. Anyone who has never had a bit of sod roll back has not plowed much sod. Move the adjustments on that plow and put somebody else on the seat who doesn't know or doesn't care and same outfit makes a mess of the field. That's my point. |

I did turn over a mole nest with 2 fat moles. Man those suckers dig fast! In a minute flat they burrowed down and were gone.

Type of bottom makes a big difference as to how they plow in sod. 375 bottoms do a good job for me as do 387 bottoms.

it is like a smaller version of the D15 II, but it is a D10 Series III. They shared the same styling. |
