I'm restoring a model 52 plow for my WD. I'm at the point of putting on the finish paint. What color are they usually painted in.  Thanks Tim.

As I know implements were dipped in orange. Decals or stenciled lettering was added after dipping
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

Mike. they are 14.5"diameter. Thanks for your reply Paul. I kind of thought if I painted them orange they would blend in with the rest of the plow.   Tim

Replaced parts many times are black, just as on early tractors: everything got orange paint.

The plows on our farm are original. Believe 60 series with the concave coulters and they are black.
