I'm restoring a model 52 plow for my WD. I'm at the point of putting on the finish paint. What color are they usually painted in. Thanks Tim.

As I know implements were dipped in orange. Decals or stenciled lettering was added after dipping

Mike. they are 14.5"diameter. Thanks for your reply Paul. I kind of thought if I painted them orange they would blend in with the rest of the plow. Tim |

Replaced parts many times are black, just as on early tractors: everything got orange paint.

orginaly painted orange! But most of us paint them black when redoing them.

The plows on our farm are original. Believe 60 series with the concave coulters and they are black.
