Anyone else get this email:

We had so much traffic this weekend that it took us to the limit. Our tech team has been working around the clock, and NOW every element on our site is stronger and ready for our growing service and soon-to-be released new platform.
Thank you for your loyalty as we grow and improve Photobucket. We’re sorry for the inconvenience – please accept our code good for $15 off your order.
Yeah right... I'm waiting for them to cave....

Haven't logged in to photobucket in a couple days. Trying to wean off it using current picture loading methods on this site. Doesnt surprize me much. They are not going to have to worry about working around the clock soon! They will be looking for work somewhere else when no one is using their product. At this point I think we use $400 worth of toilet paper a year and its a better value!

 Chris

I got that same email from pb.  I don't have a lot of pictures on their system and what I do have on there I continue to have access to it.  I just can't share it with anyone else.  I agree that when nobody (or very few) sign up for their $400 deal they will cave in and drastically drop the price.  By then they will find out that we figured out how to get by without them with other photo systems / methods.  I won't go back to pb even if it was free again.

I got that same e-mail, thought yeah, right. I wasn't that impressed with them before the price increase. They haven't improved their image to me one bit.

Yeah, "Trash Bucket",  I like that!! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I haven't gotten that email yet, but then I quit using it since they tried holding me up to the tune of $400 per year.

HOPEFULLY Darin will have an answer for us soon...
