I just kept baiting and setting my Hog Trap. I put the LAST of my corn in the back past the trigger last night. I had a nice #75 Shoat caught this morning.
She is skinned and gutted and will hang overnight. You have heard "Fat as a Pig". This little buddy had a good 1/2 plus of white fat all over. I was a bit worried she could be bred. She wasn't. I have a washtub full of homemade Oak Charcoal. Enough to Bar B Q both hams. Wish I had my game cam out to see if she had any company.

I looked at all the belly fat with a thin streak of red and said to myself. This BACON is headed for the lard making pot along with the other layer of back fat.
Dressed the little shoat was exactly 42 pounds. Fat and all. Hard to believe a wild pig could be so fatty. Must be My Wildlife Corn Plus the bumper crop of Acorns
