    Posted: 28 Jan 2019 at 10:26am
I want to build a box to go on my AC running gear for parades and/or tractor rides (hay rides without the hay!). I plan to build the box 12' long. I have some tamarack (larch) logs that were cut this winter. I plan to get a neighbor to saw the logs with a band saw.

Does anyone have plans or pictures of what they are using for a parade wagon box? Pictures would be appreciated!

I was hoping someone would chime in with some ideas.  I am contemplating a similar project...scaled to work with a B.

Can't remember his handle on here, but, Terry Kaaz has an AC barge wagon with wooden church pews set in it for parades.

I built one a couple years ago.  If the photo loads, we did a hay-less hayride at the local park last Halloween.  Seats 12 adults.  Been pulling it at the Indiana State Fair tractor parades.  Used the running gear from a V bottom grain wagon.uploads/1025/Wagon_picture.jpg

I pulled my flare box on a tractor drive once. I built a platform at the top of the flare with 'legs' down to the floor. With 12" side boards it was the right height for wife and daughter to sit in lawn chairs with arms on chairs same height as side boards. Room under platform for cooler full of water and pop, handy man jack, log chain, and 5 gal of gas. Did over 60 miles that day.

I have hauled a couple  of this concept from a builder. Makes one a year and I think this is #11 or #12.  Each one is a different color/finish...Believe he is on his last one now...  This one is in the Galesburg IL area.  Awesome work...Dale

There are some pics in these auction catalogs.  There are two catalogs.  This is the link for one, go to the auctions tab and then; upcoming auctions and you will see both catalogs.  I really like the side entry one on the first page.
