Will be starting to paint CA engine block and removing those parts again (ugh).  Any preferences on this?  I'm not trying for an accurate restoration.

My initial thought is regular pumpkin orange paint, but a cured black ceramic coating for the exhaust manifold.  Not sure about the tractor exhaust pipe.

Some parts maybe unpainted: sediment bowl base, gas line, carb & hose, alternator, wiring, coil, oil filter.

Depends on what kind of a job you want. I painted this B outside in the back yard. Did all the prep in the garage, then drove out back, set it on jacks and removed the tank / alternator / radiator, etc... Everything left got painted. You can see the gas tank / sheetmetal in the back ground.

most parts were Primered prior to assembly, so paint is on the hidden areas.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

the starter should be black, and the steering wheel.  the lights,  I wouldn't waste my time or money painting the manifold.

High temperature black spray works well on the manifold.  Mine have held up very well, no flaking.  I had the manifolds sandblasted first, so that probably helped a lot.

For the engine, remove all the accessories.  Then spend hour after hour scraping, cleaning and degreasing the engine over and over again.  Dirt and oil can hide in the tiniest of spots.  After that prime and paint.

Words of advice:  Pay extra for good quality paint.  Stay away from the cheap stuff at TSC or other places like that.
