My two sons many years ago locked themselves in the bathroom. It had the old time lock that was a rectangular box with the little lever on top that moved right or left. Well I had them put their nose on the door knob and anything else I could think of to get them to see that little lever. Before long they were bawling their heads off and couldn't see anything so after maybe a half hour of this I grabbed a step ladder and broke the window out then used a stick or something to reach and unlock the door. Later that day the toilet became plugged and not able to clear it, took it out in the back yard, hosed it out and found a raw potato wedged in there. Over the years I wished many times I had just left them in there.
