1957 D17 that was mostly redone when we got it this past summer. Had to replace a rear rim , put new front tires and new tubes all the way around. Replaced most of the wiring and electrical components, rebuilt the generator and a bunch of little things. Not happy with where the decals are and aren’t correct for the model year but I love it anyways. Drove 4 hours one way as they guaranteed it didn’t pop out of any gear. It appears to have had a pretty easy life. Still original 12 volt positive ground and original snap coupler that is not hardly worn at all. Looking to get a 3 or 4 bottom sc plow by spring. This will definitely be used this year !! I will be taking more pics and pics in use also. Another one that my beautiful wife loves !!

I wish you were closer, I'm in South Central Iowa. I've got a 3X16 plow dad used on his 1958 D17. I'd give it to you. I can load it in your trailer. I cannot find the snaps for the lift arms. Please replace the double C spring in the snap coupler bell. I did not know there was one in there and this very plow came unhooked from the bell. The snap coupler eye on the plow dug into the dirt and the plow landed on top of me. At the time I was pulling it with my WD 45. Old gal says I have a big scar on my back and I have had terrable back problems every since.

Chris thanks can’t wait to get to use it. I wish that was my shop. It’s my buddy’s 40x100 complete with big bead blaster and 8” thick concrete floors. Will have lots of pics this spring in use !! HD6GTOM thanks also wish I lived closer I’d take you up on your offer. Know all about that spring I’d already replaced it. Checked when we first got it and seen it needed replaced. Learned all about it on this site. Thanks for the heads up !!

Go get that plow and call it a winter vacation. Take the beautiful wife along. Write off the motels and mileage and I'll bet you get a valuable lesson on plow safety in the deal.

Unfortunately we take care of my wife’s uncle who has cancer. We also have 2 big English Mastiff’s. I only have one person who the dogs trust, and I’d hate to put him out taking care of them for that long. My wife would LOVE a vacation. I also found someone who has a few snap coupler plows about a hour away and one is a 3 bottom supposedly in real good condition. Trying to set up looking at them next weekend. Thanks Ray

I’m going to look at a few plows next weekend. If that doesn’t pan out I might take you up on the offer as I have a buddy who trucks trees on a flatbed to Columbus who said he could swing that way to get them for me. Do you have a way to load them on a flatbed ? Thanks , Ray

If no one takes you up on that plow, I will.  Would probably be spring before I could get it.
