Sorry for the off color tractor but we have a John Deere 3020 that is needing a new clucth soon and the local dealer wants $1300 for everything. Is there aftermarket kits out ther that are cheaper and are still good clucthes? Nathan |

Hy-Capacity mfg and Theobald mfg both out of Iowa are good clutch re-manufacturers. A lot of implement dealers handle their parts. I use both for John Deere clutches.
I have re-surfaced plates and had discs re-lined at times but your best bet is to get a re-man unit from one of them or send yours in and have it done. I sent one to Theobald this past winter for a 2510 JD and for a little over $400 and some other parts it was done. I probably only had $700 total with new discs, berrings etc. |
