Probably saw all the grain on the ground behind it and totaled it so he could collect insurance and buy something decent. Either way no big loss it's a Deere.

YEP, driving while under the influence is never a good thing. Doesn't matter what you are driving, a car or truck, a tractor, a motorized wheel chair, a bicycle, or whatever. Just not a good thing to do, EVER!

North Dakota may be flat, but that doesn't mean it's without ditches. It is particularly necessary to have drainage control in order to protect roadbeds.. Combine these days are capable of sprightly transport speeds, and (particularly without a header) have a remarkably high center of gravity, augmentedby a very bouncy suspension-less ride... ain't exactly a Lotus Esprit Turbo. I've seen guys dump them over just navigating a paved crossroads ..
"According to skid evidence on the scene, Michael Thomas Carr, 45, was
driving a combine westbound when appears to have crossed over into the
oncoming lane, caught his tire on the left edge of the road, then
corrected to the right, crossing back into his own lane and then
flipping the combine on its top into the ditch."

Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.
