I have 2 of them. D14 and a ca. The 14 is just how we bought it. It's the most dependable tractor that we haven't overhauled. We use it for all the hay mowing. It has a homemade 3pt that the 80r3 fits perfectly on. It also pulls the plow and disk for the 1/2 acre corn patch.

The ca...bought with a cracked liner and stuck. Pretty much started in the front and worked our way back. It can sit for months with the 6v batt hooked up and fuel left on and start on about the 2nd revolution. I use it for raking and planting the corn. Those are my go to tractors!

Mine is red and I am the third owner of it in 78 years.  My dad and I both drove it for the same guy as hired hands.  He will be 87 in a couple of months.I bought at his auction and the 4 brothers did not want it but wanted me to get it.  Farmall M

My WF would always start one time many years ago it 40 below my wife flooded the car so I was going to start the truck 1974 Ford F350 pickup with a 460 engine it would turn over but not enough to start the WF started it was close to the truck hooked 2 jumper cables to gather got the truck started. The WF saved the day !

New to the family last fall this WD45 earned its keep plowing snow all winter. set out in brutel conditions. After a tune up and some fluid changes it seems to be a good 'go to' tractor!
Low cost heat houser was a good investment.

I have a 170G that just wants to run.  Seems you can hop on it and get it going under most conditions.  I shipped it off to my brother in law a year and half ago, to his place near Vancouver.  He has been using it to clean up a 14 acre parcel he has and although he has a 8N and other tractors, he says it just starts and runs, and works, so is his go to machine.

My two are a 1940 C and a 56 WD45.  The C is a rare one that pops off with no choke or anything when it's -15 outside.  The WD45 will start ANYTIME and no matter what's going on, -25, raining or snowing, sitting for a year,,,,, it'll start right up.  I keep saying that I'm gonna change the plugs in it, but then,,,,,WHY??

Bumble B-10. Out of all the garden tractors we have this one seems to get used most, snow plow mows and leaf vacuum

Dad's old D17. Used on our dairy farm for many years just about 365 days a year. Used as a loader tractor - moving round bales, silage, snow, bucking and hauling manure, pulling drill, planter, disk, cultivating, corn picker, grinding feed. For a while it was our do everything tractor. Easy starter in our very cold winters. I wish we had pics of it when it was covered in about an inch of solid ice after the ice storm of 1991 and I had to chip the ice away from the governor and carb linkage before we could start it. It was a bitter cold winter that year but we still had periods of icing which for us was unusual. The frequent ice that is. Cold was normal.

Dad still has it in the shed but since his health has been declining in recent years it has been a while since it has been run. Maybe I should get it pulled out this summer. Dad had some needed surgury last week and seems to be feeling better all each day.

"Old Faithful" is exactly what Dad always called this old girl. The rare occasion when the 190XT was down during haying season, Dad never hesitated to hook the old 45 up to the haybine to keep going. Normally, we used her most of the year on the manure spreader and pulling wagons up to the elevator for unloading hay all summer. We put up around 24,000 bales a year for our 100+ cow dairy in upstate NY. As you can tell from the picture, she was set up to run 365 days a year. That snowplow frame has been on her as far back as I can remember and I'm 46. Dad would spend many winter days driving around helping to get neighbors plowed out after those NY winter storms only stopping when it was time for evening milking. She plowed ALOT more snow than she should have had to because often times when the bucket loader would have been more desirable due to the amount of snow, that dang old Oliver 770 would not start.
