This old early forage harvester is coming up for auction near me. Don't think I've ever seen one with the screened paddle reel:

I've never seen one in person, but seen plenty in the old 16mm advertisement films.

We have a reel like that in our barn, I don't think it's ever been on the chopper. Where's the auction going to be jay

You got knives and a shear bar for it too Mike?.....We ought to start up a custom crop partnership with it; show these twin turbo-ed Claas guys a thing or two!

Yeah, I need to do that with my pair of All-Crops.....the custom cutters with the S680's might out-cut us as far as acres covered, but at least we won't be leaving a bird trail behind us!

You should show it to me when I come pick up my baler parts. I know if you don't have parts source for these you're dead in the water and their not worth buying.
.....If I had this one, I'd put it on my D17 diesel and we'd be able to keep pace with the big boys just fine!

I have a chopper with it on and I have NOS screens for the reel too. Have to get some pictures of it for you guys.
