175 Allis diesel. Gent out working one of his fields yesterday and blew a three point lift cylinder. I rebuilt both after giving a good solvent bath and grabbed seals at the implement dealer that had them on hand. About an hours work for both of them. Only one shown, but they don't leak now I'm told.
Old seals didn't come out intact: ![]() Pulled apart and cleaned up: ![]() Ready to go back together: ![]() I stretched, and knocked new seals into the barrel and slid together easily. I only ran test pressure up to 500psi as I don't know normal operating parameters on these things but neither rebuilt cylinder leaks at that pressure. Raining heavy now but tractor should be reassembled shortly to make room. I like these little projects that come and go quickly. They pay well also.
