Bought two 780 choppers with heads. 2- two row heads, one narrow and one wide rows, a one row head and hay head. Complete except for a few cutterbar parts. Now to find the parts and get them running.

I have a bunch of NOS chopper parts available. Although I think most of them are for the older models. Send me part numbers.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.

I don't have a parts book for it yet, but what I am missing is the c-channel the shear bar slides into and the bolts to tighten the holder down.

Chris,

Try messicks.com, and look for Ford / New Holland 680 Forage Harvester. It is identical to the Allis Chalmers 780/782. The parts diagrams and numbers should be helpfull for your project.

Part # 531883 and #531884 I believe. Anchor and spacer. Also looking for parts #527857 and #535178.
