    Posted: 17 Apr 2012 at 3:23pm
Hi Folks:

Added a 1948 Row Crop C to the stable.  Front rims and tires hold air OK, but can see tube through the rim, pretty rusty.

Anyone have a good source for front rims?  Assume these are 4 x 15 front rims, maybe 5 x 15 would be better.

Appreciate any comments, thoughts or pictures.

This will become a plowing tractor as it already has the two way lift setup on the back.

Thanks Guys....Orangeman

If'n you're not picky, I understand that some of those (I think GM) temporary (doghnut) spare tires of the late 90's fit the front just fine.

Hello Dave: Didn't think of that approach, and have seen other use the dognut spare.  I would like to get as close as OEM as possible.

Where the 4 x 15 front original, and are the 5 X 15 on a C a better setup.

Jim D, hit me with a quote for two new front rims through PM.  Thank-you.

If I remember right the original front rims are 3 X 15. I just replaced the front rims on my B and they are the same as the C. The tire size is 4.00 X 15. It all depends what you want.  Its your tractorWink
