I think this might be my best deal ever. Usually I give more for stuff than it is worth, but every once in a while something good comes along. A friend of mine called me and said his neighbor wanted to get rid of his payloader. It was just sitting around, and if it would go to someone who would use it, he would sell it for junk price. I gave $1600 for it, sight unseen. My friend used it all summer. When they delivered it yesterday, I wasn't expecting too much. I was pleasantly surprised. It runs like a top and everything seems to be real tight. The tach reads 2980 hrs.

That would be a great toy to have sitting around the farm. Looks like you did pretty good.

Is it the same as an Allis 545 loader with the 301 engine? Good find and better price. Edited by Calvin Schmidt - 25 Nov 2010 at 4:06pm |

Will give you $50 more than you paid ! just think of your profit. Hmm might even go $160 , just think 10% profit on your money.

Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.

, You got one heck of a buy Terry !!! I bought mine last fall and used it all winter clearing snow, they are great machines and are overbuilt. They are like the 545b,605b except for the fiat dsl. I think they were the last of the series to be made in the US ,later ones were man. in Italy. minnpar.com has good parts coverage., Mike

Terry, great buy. Congrats. Tracy, the lottery ticket might not be a good investment. I think Terry used up more than a lifetime worth of good luck on the loader. Bob@allisdowneast

Golly, you should be in prison, Terry!
Great catch! Prolly ought'a put a set 'a chains on the tires, so it does well on ice, and make 'yerself some forks for picking up things that don't readily like being 'bucketed'... |

Terry Good for you. My neighbor used a payloader on my snow a couple times last winter and it is unbeliveable how it could push snow. You are all set for snow and you will be suprised how much you will use it for other things. Dallas
