ClapBuilding is finished, wondering what kind of sign I could put on it. Don't want to put a real expensive one on. Some of the e-bay signs are not very big. Maybe put a smaller one someplace else? What size should it be? Can you make a decal large enough that will work? Just looking for suggestions. Thanks, rrhead(SD)

How big do you want ? How much room do you have on your eve ?
And, I don't know where you got that logo recreation, but the A-C is way off center.

I can make them out of solid core plastic, thin aluminum sheeted on solid core plastic, 40 gauge aluminum or 80 gauge tempered aluminum. Or I can build can signs with lights in them and lexan faces.

Here are two examples of the thin aluminum over solid core plastic signs I just built.
The first sign looks bowed in the picture but it was just how my phone made the picture look.

I have a 4'X4' solid core plastic AC Diamond logo on my shed. It is 8 years old and looks like the day I hung it. It was done for about $175 back then, very happy with it. You may be able to go larger if you like, 5'X5'?

Congrats on the new building, really like the color! I think you should talk to Split51 and have a sign made that resembles the old Dealership signs that was simply....   ALLIS CHALMERS. Maybe 2.5 ft high and 10 ft long, or somewhere proportional. just my .02 This really got me thinking I need one myself!

Split,
I'll have to keep you mind when we get our new Pole Barn up this Spring! Your signs look quite nice!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was thinking 3x3, but maybe 4x4 would be better. I just copied the sign and had to crop it and then rotate it, so it probably got distorted. I like the Allis Chalmers sign idea. Will check into that. Will contact split and another one too. Thanks again, rrhead(SD)

Maybe something like this? I like the sign from split. May have to talk to you about that. rrhead(SD)

Thanks everyone. Here is an AC sign I built for my garage on the aluminum on plastic.  The orange is not the right color but I was just using up some old material.
  it is 8" x 60"

rrhead...that first picture you posted looks good! I designed the AC logo you are using in that one. I couldn't find a decent one online so I made my own! It looks damn good on the building! haha
