Ok...time to choose...A or B. I have my thoughts but will wait for some other comments first. Our Gleaner E and F3. I'm not sure of the exact category..just like these two videos!

I like the F2 best.
I would tighten fan belt on the E before it gets hot. MACK

I don't guess I understand the question. Just F3 vs E in general? Or which one sounds better, cleans better, has a better cab, fuel economy, something else, etc?
If it was JD 55 vs E it would be a clearer choice! Lol

Seems like most everybody is taking this too literally. Just meant it to be a fun post with similar views from two vastly different machines. Of course an F3 is much better than an E for real work. Have fun! Think of this as going to a tractor show. LOL

The E video was made 8 years ago, but I seem to remember that we tightened the belt shortly after the video was made. My father noticed that the temp. was running just a little higher than it usually does so we went looking! |

I have to vote for the E just in terms of pure enjoyment to the ears. Love the sound of a good running 226. Really only hear the big fan on the F3. However in terms of performance, well the diesel wins that one of course!
