ok

new plugs .025 gap
new wires solid core
tractor fires rite up, but has no power under load
when you pull the wire off the plug when running the 2 center spark plugs: there is no change in the tractor idle( not firing)
the 2 outside plugs you can here a change in the engine idle when removed
when i pulled the 2 center plugs there was fuel on them

Mag is not working properly? can i have it re built or what do you recommend

guys thanks for the help   Brian

Sounds like your new plug wires are not in the right order. Firing order for your tractor is; 1 2 4 3, not the more common 1 3 4 2.

Verify firing order is correct like Phil says. If the wires are on right, move spark plugs and see if the misfire follows them. Champion plugs, in my experience, have no quality control. I have found them to have many more instances of defects than all others combined. If it's not the plugs, move the wires. When you removed the wires from the cyls that are not contributing, did they have a strong blue spark when held near the engine?

Brian - Have you tried reversing plug wire 2 & 3.  You do know that the mag runs CW as viewed from the cap end. - AL
