A friend's dad played basketball back in the late 50,s early 60,s . He can't watch a modern basketball ball game. He says when I played you couldn't touch the guy with the ball or it was a foul. These guys are mugging each other.

I watch the 13 year old grandson play baseball and basketball.... 5th - 6th graders love the sport.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

That, and how many steps nowadays before ‘traveling’?
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Agreed. Players holding their opponents via crafty out-of-official's-sight or blatant grabbing is an unfair advantage. I used to officiate grade school games, until overly dramatic parents in stands became worse than their entitled kid players on the court. Some say, the game has evolved?? Enough said.
But, I am enjoying watching these two teams play as teams, not so much individuals. Lots of hustle, agility, finesse, quick thinking, quick reacting, on both sides. They are closely matched. Should be a great series.

The evolution of ALL of todays  sports is brought into "playground' ball.  Anything goes and there are NO rules.  If these guys had to play by the REAL rules as set forth, they couldn't even get to half court...the fifty yard line.  Notice that there are VERY VERY FEW that play golf, tennis or other sports where they can't 'bend' the rules to suit them.  When basketball was started (1892 ?) the average height of an American male was 5'5".  Equate that to todays BB players and the basket should be about 14 feet.  NOW lets play ball...

Any sport is transforming and perhaps not for the better, look at football, earlier players played much harder, but now any touch of a player and he is already lying and writhing in pain, although this is a clear simulation. If such moments were sorted out in VAR and yellow cards were distributed for simulation, the game would become more interesting. I love sports and online casinos with bonuses without sending documents. So if you want to ply too, you can find them on http:// https://casino-stranieri.com/bonus/bonus-casino-senza-invio-documenti/ . I switched to online games, as there is not enough time for sports anymore, I can only do it as entertainment on weekends. And it is already difficult to assemble a team, unfortunately, whether it is basketball or football.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
