See if the numbers on the cylinder are still readable. Napa is a source for a lot of sizes. |

Princess auto had the ones for my R52 and the door struts for my 8030 and 8010. If you take your old one with you to match them it is much easier than guessing. Their price was less than 1/4 of agco's price for the door struts.

you still have "princess Auto? wow...the one down here closed up, they were a lot cheaper on stuff than anyone else, and they had a variety of stuff that a person would never see otherwise in a lifetime! I bought a no brand name portable genny from them, and it's still running! have no idea what brand the otor or genny is...there's no markings on it anywhere! my BIL gots kicked out of the one down here...he was walking thru and pulled ona rope hanging from the ceiling....it dropped about a 1/2 pickup load of foam peanuts out on the floor all over before he let loose of it! lol

71305916 is the part number and fits N-6/R-6/R-60/R-65/R-66 ....I'm having a hard time believing AGCO doesn't have a replacement. I see the S-7 and S-8 series has a different P/N and wonder if it would fit??

Tagging this post for later, hopefully I can get some good part numbers at the auto parts stores.
I got a used one from a salvage yard, and even though it has 40-45 lbs of thrust, its not enough, apparently they must be 90 lb when new. I think I have one good and one bad on the engine hood, so I will move the weak one to the engine hood to help out the good one, and get a new one for the side panel. Trying to get the ol 91 R60 ready to rock for corn with the 8R30 Hugger. :) |
