 I FORGOT TO SAY  THE HEX IS FOR THE LOCK CAM, THE FLAT END IS FOR SPREADING THE SOCKET END OPEN   [ INSERT BETWEEN THE IRONS AND GIVE IT A  1/4 TURN ]

Back When these mowers were current if you bought a complete new pitman assy with ends it came with this wrench wired to it all painted PO . Cal in Ct
