…FWIW lol...
Well, the package arrived today, first the Good:
The packaging - I think it'd be easier to break into Fort Knox! Excellent. I've never seen ANYONE go to the lengths he did to make sure everything was protected to arrive in perfect condition.
The brake shoes and lining - No way, absolutely no way I expected as much as he did. Painted up the shoes, and the lining? NOTHING like the "regular" linings I had already bought before it was recommended that I use his services. Nothing close to what I could've found anywhere else. At any price. Top notch isn't just a cliché, for what he did. And probably isn't sufficient to describe his professionalism or attention to detail.
OK, now the Bad:
I didn't go to him straightway in the first place. But in my defense, there's no way I could've imagined that the difference between "regular" and his work would be so huge. And worth so much more than what I paid. Well done!!!

Bottom Line: DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, KIDS!!! Go to Rick Corder, FIRST!!!

Thanks, Rick, especially for putting up with me throughout this whole thing.
- Tim

Rick is the man when it comes to Clutches and Brakes he is definitely #1 I have never heard anyone complain about his work. He is very knowledgeable about A.C. Tractor's and takes alot of pride in his work.I purchased a 6 pad clutch from him for my WD45, and he earned a lifetime customer in me by providing a far superior product to his competitors at a better price.

Yep, I haven't found anyone better, including a torque limiter for my 7060.

Have a clutch and brake shoes in my WD from him, well worth the cost and can't be beat at any price.

I just hurt my elbow from patting myself on the back (since I was the first one to recommend that you go to Rick!) It just goes to prove that once in a while, I am right! I'm really glad you are happy!

Well if you're ever down my way, stop by and I'LL pat you on the back, lol!!! Yes, your recommendation was first and the first time I got to thinking outside the box when it comes to repairs; namely, why not send the work off to be done by someone else better and cheaper?

I just finished up the brake job, all adjusted, covers/seat back on. PTO work has been done for awhile, hand clutch finished up last year, now for the carb rebuild, then the fuel tank (gonna line it), then talk to Steve in NJ about the electrical work...
...jeepers, I just realized I'm slower than Chris/Sugarmaker!!!

Only I'm not going all out restoring it, just to return it to service. I've got plowing to do if it EVER dries out!!!

If I get down your way, I will give you a shout.

You can't go wrong with Rick for any clutch or brake work. I hear he has some seats, too, so I will be talking to him when the work on my steel wheeled B gets a little further along.

Steve in NJ is great for the electrical stuff. Not only does he have good quality stuff, but his advice and know how (and patience!) really help, too!

Also guys, Rick will do some truck clutches and off color as well. Don't be shy and think he only touches orange paint.

Thanks you guys, I appreciate the kind words there! I will do anything clutch related for anything, but I try to stick to just the tractor brakes and steering clutches for dozers and things like that. I'm not really into the over-the-road tractors and trailer brakes at all.  Thumbs Up  Rick
