I found a 1958 D14 made the deal last Friday. New tires not a gear jumper engine runs great brakes work sheet metal is good light rust. The bad is the rock shaft cyl has a leak so we will get that taken care of and it should be a good tractor I am a happy camper. Randy

NICE !!!! Has both ? side panels ?? A RARE find for sure.. Have 3 D-14s, only 1 side panel... Did the rockshaft hose..once.(might be hte ram packing though....) Be SURE to have 2 empty 5G pails for the diff oil !!! Also have a hose made with 1 swivel fitting. it makes reinstall a LOT easier.

Thanks Jaybmiller it does have both side panels. I did a google search and found your post and have decided to have it done by a mechanic. I have Arthritis in my hands to many years of heavy production welding so wrenching don't work so good thanks for the reply. Randy

Looks good. I spent many hours on a D14 mowing hay with a severn ft 990 IH haybine. Dad even added a rollguard and caynopy off a massey 135 so I could set in the shade. Tom

be real careful as wasps and other stinging flyers like to make homes inside !! I think that's why most D-14 don't have them..

Nice looking tractor  . I worked for a local local dairy farmer in the mid-late '80's that had a '14 on a New Holland box manure spreader. To my knowledge, that was the only '14 in a 25 mile radius, all others were '15's,'17's or a WD 45

I have to disagree Jay, the shields tend to get removed and hung on the wall inside the shed. Having to remove 13 little bolts before getting access to a troublesome starter or voltage regulator is the reason they stay off the tractor.
The only thing I have seen nest inside there are mice in the winter time.

Nice looking 14. I've had mine since forever I think. They are a reliable tractor. Looks like you got 28" tires on the rear. Not a problem but from the way the rims look I'd be pulling them apart and check out those rims for fluid leaks. If you have any questions on that, let us know.

No fluid, the rust look like its just light rust no very deep. it had pie weights on it.

Nice original tractor!
It should work out real nice for you, I have a 57 D14 that I’ve had for many years and it’s my favorite tractor to use for plowing and most other jobs too. Always wanted to put 28” tires on mine, let us know how you like them, speed wise and all.
Again nice tractor and good luck with it.

The tires are 14.9 - 26 make it stand a little taller but still 26"rims Randy
