I don't think you are going to find that info.
I would get the parts and service manuals, but even the you will only get an AC part # for a bolt, not a description. Many bolts will come in a 1/4" measurement instead of a 1" or 1 1/2" they will be 1 1/4" long. You just have to use the old bolts or match them at the hardware store. I like to use the old bolts if they are in good shape as the new plated bolts don't hold paint so good. LOL Bob

I know my 6V '38B has a straight pipe. I believe that is the way they came originally, though not with the 6V which was probably added later. All my other ones have been changed to the tall muffler.
I also have buckets full of bolts/nuts that came off tractors, if they look good, I will run them through my tap and die sets and then re-use them if possible.

I have a 39 B and that came with a under the hood muffler on it. Some of the suppliers on this site handle them and I think the price is around $65.00 plus shiping. Not much to them. I know some of the 38 B's came with them also.

I have a NOS straight pipe complete with the Allis P/N sticker I purchased 20 + years ago when Allis was still alive and had the obselete part search available. Bought it without knowing the price. Almost fainted when it showed up but took it anyway. Could have bought 20' of exhaust pipe for the same price. Well, might use some day when I get tired of looking at it in the NOS parts cabinet.
