I plowed up about two out of three acres before I broke the coulter disc on the G's plow.  I bought an off the shelf disc and modified it to fit the existing bearing housing, but it only lasted about an hour before the cast iron flange broke on the bearing housing.  Does anybody have a lead on a replacement coulter or a modern hub and disc that would fit the bill?  Searching the internet I don't really see a modern equivalent for the hub.

Frankly,  I have no idea where, but, I would contact Sandy Lake and tell them of your situation.  If there is any person who could help you with new parts then it would be them.  I believe they are a sponsor on this site.
Also, you may check e-bay under Allis Chalmers G plow.  Might get lucky.  The damnedest things show up there.
You know, we sold the G - a lot of them - for the life of the unit.  Almost all had plows and I cannot recall replacing the plow colter.
Good Luck!
Bill Long
ps:  If you call Sandy Lake give them my regards.
