My 1976 maroon 7000 will not always start. By "playing" with the pto lever sometimes gets it to start. I replaced the neutral safety switch located behind the battery where the pto engages and disengages. But this did not help. Is there another safety switch, if there is I can't seem to find it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Another safety switch under the floor mat and thru the cab floor for the clutch pedal.

Welcome to the forum Tom!

The switches are probably good they just need to be adjusted.

There is a contact plate on the clutch push rod that typically needs adjustment. You can see it when you look under the front of the cab behind the fuel tank filler cap.
