A friend told me an IH 1568 (V-8 engine) brought $60,000.  That's nuts...

I saw a few sell, thought most sold good but also a few bargains.  I thought the D15 was a real good buy.

there was a lot of tractors that looked like they were straight of the farm. a 185 175 a few 190s, a 180,and a few other.
i though those 8000 series tractors went cheap 12500 for a nice looking 8030

I really don't get the fascination with those tractors. I'd take a 436 over a 550 10 times out of 10 and twice on Sunday! If that makes sense.

I have found on Mecums that some stuff goes at below or right at value and then other stuff they go hog wild and nuts over and in my opinion spend way too much on it.  Especially some of that green stuff.

A 220 cab fwa sold for 54,000. Saturday on RFD a 6080 fwa brought 24,000. Seems like some restored stuff don't bring much. I'm starting to like the smaller 100 series, but don't have a need for one.

So,are these just collectors or are farmers buying older tractors to get away from electronics? I’m seeing a lot of farmers restore, refurbish older tractors due to maintenance and reliability issues with newer stuff.

Even fully restored it would be a big ask to get $100,000.

In a world where a NF assembly for a 190 brings 10K,100K for the 220 ain't to far fetched.

Water filter kits were available and that one is an add-on because of heater hose connections. A factory kit like on a 7050-60-80 were hard lines.  220's also didn't have an intercooler.

I was watching Matt sell that 220 4wheel drive and it looked to me like selling money was $57,000 from the way he asked for that money at the end.   I see Matt action weekly and have learned to read him.  great guy, him and his dad did my farm retirement sale!

AC from the start of my families farming career till the end!

Fred, All 220's should look like that. An intercooler looks cool on a 220. Mine has a functioning intercooler on an industrial engine in my 220 2wd. The one in the picture is also functioning because using the correct waterpump requires the alternator  to be moved to the right side.

Calvin n Doc  that's what  I was referring the  intercooler, I put my fair share of filter kits on rebuilds  right out of AC boxes in the 80's ,
