I have a ground driven manure spreader with the year 1939 on the frame I don't know the model number but it looks very muck like a New Idea 12
I am looking for parts and have had no luck I don't think many of these were made any help would be greatly appreciated

I have no part numbers and I don't even now the model of this spreader but it looks a lot like the NI-12

I am not real sure, but...I have a 12A New Idea and the front head board is wooden. My dad has both 17NI, and a 206NI and they both have a steel front head boards. Also the upper side rails on those(17, 206) are steel like the one you have. The 12A has more wooded rails with a small piece of angle iron on them. Sorry I don't have any parts but maybe this info will help you.

I believe that spreader is an AC 95 G. I have one restored. I have a parts book, I will look up the hub. I think they made 2000 of them.

The hub is 533886 either side, the pawl is 533831 for the right side and 533832 for the left. Springs are 533922 right and 533923 left. I bought springs at the hardware store and bent the ears to fit.
