Ok I feel kind of dumb. Can someone explain a fmb4 magneto to me. I can't get spark across a plug. It will shock my wife hehe talked her into that twice lol. If I turn the tractor over with hand crank with no plugs in u can see and hear the mag snap and points make a great blue spark but if turned over fast very little spark. The spark on the wires is good with the slow turn over but weak turning over faster too. Thinking about a distributor just cause I know how to work on them. But don't want to scare up 150 bucks just yet

I have never heard of that B4. I'm not a mag expert, but if you have the magnetism to cause the spark and all other things, point gap, condenser, coil, etc, I don't know what could change by spinning it faster unless it has something to do with the impulse drive.
