Can I run wheat with a bean screen? To help keep wheat heads out of the grain. Without running wheat out the back?

Depends which type of chaffer you have. In our F2 corn plus, we cannot run wheat through it as it will plug the tailings as it lets to all the chaff through. We have a soybean screen, which is also used as a small grain chaffer which works very well in the combine for wheat and oats. You would have to see if yours is the long or short tooth chaffer, and if it is squared or rounded ends. You shouldn't have any problems with a soybean screen as it should be short round tooth chaffer.

The round tooth chaffer works the best. I had my square tooth in when I started on wheat with the L3, I took it out and put the round tooth in,you can clean the sample up with it, like Hager said, you get too much chaff coming through the square tooth, then you have to try to clean it with the bottom, and it runs to much over the return.
