While supplies are becoming stronger and seems the two will cross a threshold soon where prices will have to drop dramatically or face excessive supplies with few buyers and that cannot sit very long.

Man I hope you're right. We just finished grading a pad for a 56x80 litter shed and I could sure use some cheap wood.

Prices slipped at our local yard about 10% per the back counter guys, they are currently only dealing with Lumber suppliers that will sell as Commission Sales, IOW are NOT charged for the materials until sold and can be returned to supplier without a fee.  Prices are then allowed to swing back and forth without affecting their bottom line.
