The tractor will probably sell for $4000 at auction.  Restored WD45's are still selling for good prices.  The junker below sold on eBay for $1625.

3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

I think part of the reason for the big number is it's an auction. People's eyes get bigger and bigger when there's a possibility somebody might "steal it". I've been guilty of it myself on a few occasions

when there is sale with this many tractor in good condition and few Rare ones.

it almost always raises the price of the common tractors on the sale.

If you Believe you are going to get that for non running WD 45Diesel good luck.

Maybe they should take some of that excess money they seem to have and make a donation to the forum.

I thought about that. There's always someone out there who gets uptight about something like that because they'd see it as selfish or because they didn't get any. If it was donated to the forum then all of us would be in benifit. Then no one could complain.

so I was guilty of giving to much for a tractor before.Lol

Bought a cat 15 undercarriage was in great shape
And appear to not have much wear.

Gave almost $4000.00 for the crawler
Turn out one of the nephews wanted the crawler also
And had Bid it up.

Lady come up to my dad and said you need to cut him off.
As we had been to 10 sells that they also been at all over the states
Think the one prior was in South Dakota and had bought 2 in styled D's
And a lot of new old stock parts.

Dad told her it not his money.
But maybe she was right and have no sense.
