I lost my key to my Allis Chalmers 5020 Tractor. How can I get a replacement or get a new switch? or another remedy. Need the thing running as fast as possible. Can't live without it.

Some of those ignition keys are the same as the ordinary riding lawnmower. I don't know for sure on yours, it's worth checking out though. At one time John Deere had only 3 keys that fit anything they built, maybe this one is similar. If it's a diesel, and has a mechanical shutoff to stop the engine, you could jump the solenoid to start the engine. If it does and you do, be 1000% certain it's out of gear, or even have someone setting on it holding the clutch down while you do. If it were to start in gear, it's going to run you over. Not a good thing.

If so, you're local lawn mower store should also have them, possibly ace/lowes/homedepot.
