That looks to be an excellent original tractor!  If those 3500 hours look to be correct, I would pay whatever is needed to bring it home with me.  You would be hard pressed to find another one that looks as good. Already has newer tires, so I doubt that it would need any expensive repairs.

It's good to see Orange in that well cared of shape. In lieu of not seeing a "Power Shift" decal on its door, I'm assuming its a Power Director 20speed?? I hope you get it - good luck. Auctions are real wide cards for prices. If you are serious, be ready to go the distance. With good rubber, duals, & weights it should bring $7,500 on low side & possibly $12,000 on high side.

That also is a good looker, but I'd advise taking the chance at the auction first...You might get a cheaper price, and a 7020 is much more tractor in a package in my opinion.

looked at 1 last year about the same hours, no duals or front weights, dealer had it on his lot for $10500.00. I should have bought it.

2 thoughts:

$11,500 is a might steep priced 7000 I would say it's $3000 to $4500 to much

The 7020 being a black belly adds some valve for me.

7020 brought 6400 . It is what it is . Somebody got with out a doubt one of the nicest 7000 series I've seen in a long time . The tractor had full front weights , duals and almost brand new 23 degree Firestones ! If it would of been green it would of brought over 20 k . I don't think the tractor had ever sat outside , with a good detailing it would of looked like a 2 year old tractor !

You can't buy a new green garden tractor for $6400.

Want to ask you guys a question, we had a 7020 when I was younger and It was my favorite tractor to operate but it liked to go through head gaskets. Did anybody else run into this problem?? Other than a clutch and rebuilding the engine once it was a good all around tractor. I think it had @8000 hours on it when we traded it off.

Dang- $6400 seems like a really good price. I don't know how it is in the midwest, but the last year, out here the price of tractors has just collapsed

I looked that sale site up on Google Earth.  Looks like they put up a couple big hog or chicken houses next to the farm.  If you look closely, you can see the AC parked in the farm yard hooked to something.  I typed in the address of the auction on google and then went to maps then satellite.
