Phil I met a man at the Southeast Antique Power show this weekend he has a whole collection of the saws. I believe the case is original. He had an extra 75 like you got & brought it for me today to look at & possibly buy I passed on it I thought he was asking a bit too much.Plus my wife would think I am crazy if I came home with a 7th chainsaw.Does it run? They are made by Poulan & came in two colors orange & green.

A member of our Maine Antique Tractor Club bought one of those about 4 years ago. Fellow had bought it new, put in gas, ran it a few minutes and didn't like it. So he set it on a shelf. Many years later he put it in Uncle Henry's (our weekly 250 page want ad book). So John bought it and showed it at our GOTO North in 2007.

I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not sure.

I have one just like that,  the same case too, so I would say its original. Great find! It looks really nice.
