Been waiting many years for this post. I bought a 190xt propane from a man in my home town years ago. (went to school with his oldest daughter). I ran that tractor for year until it burnt in the shed. He had a real nice original 220, which he was the second owner. I told him that when he was ready I wanted that tractor. So he called a month or so ago and said he was ready and that he wanted to give me first chance due to the job I had done fixing up the old XT. The only down side was that he also wanted to get rid of his 7080 brown belly and I had to take both of the tractors to get the 220. (My wife.... well she is still my wife but this will cost me dearly in the long run). Still worth it! Enjoy, It has a little over 4800 hrs, mexican hat duals with good tires all around. Serial

The top two tires on the trailer are the original tires that came on the duals.

wives are cranky for a while and then tend to get over it, after you remodel the kitchen, buy new living room furniture and take the kids to Disney World. no ride @ Disney World will compare to what that 220 thrill ride will be.....nice piece. enjoy.

Great looking tractor!!!  Was it sold new from Schmidt and Sons in Mt. Hope, Kansas?  Looks like their dealer emblem on the side there.

I would rather have the 7080 than the 220 unless it was the one that I once owned with front wheel assist!!!

Yes this tractor was ordered by Schmidt & Son's, owned until 1978 by one of the brothers then sold to the man I bought it from.

Good Work. My 220 with 20.8 x 38 radials and mexican hat duals is my new favourite tractor after spending several days this spring cultivating. 18.4 x 16.1 knobbies look great on the front too.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed
