Sure is a difference in machines in a few years , Bobcat is all joystick with foot throttle where NH is set throttle and foot control for bucket and boom along with lever steer for each side .
Got use to the one lever for fwd-rev and other side for boom-bucket and with angle of plow - 3rd valve is sure nice though the NH has that 3rd valve feature also with valve on right side control lever .

Yep,watched a couple on a lot go up here as well. Sadly we bit the bullet on a Enclave she's been wanting since Grand Am is showing its age.

I've been looking at used cars and those prices are 40% higher than pre-pandemic prices .

I learned on a L-775 New Holland and used to borrow it a lot till realizing it breaks way too often given lack of care the owner gave it. I then purchased my 1845C and haven't looked back in over 20 full years. The old Wisconsin V4 was bulletproof reliable if kept clean.

Your right on prices. My tractor is worth more now than I paid for it those years ago.

Still have my old L-775's and the L-781 here. Just got an old Case 1530 with motor problems, almost have the motor back together for it.
Cant work on the new crap.

I just picked up a older New Holland 655XT skid with 1200 hours on it , after looking around for a machine . I had a NH 785 years back and liked that machine but ended up trading it in on couple other updates that never stacked up to that machine .
I have been using oldest sons A 300 Bobcat for snow plowing this year as it has good heat where I still need to get enclosed cab for the 655
Paid $11,000 for the 655 and machine is extremely clean - was kept inside - paint is like new yet , only drawback is not enclosed so little cold using it this time of the year .
Looks like it had heat and air cond at one time but was removed for some reason .

I just looked at some online auctions. WOW not only are clean tractors skyhigh so are tractor mount loaders and skidloaders. Glad I got mine bought a few years ago.
