I stumbled across this company called tiger lights.com that supposedly makes LED retrofitted for the 6,7, and 8000 series. Has anyone heard of this company or purchased these lights? And if so where you satisfied with the performance? They seem priced reasonable, almost to good to be true. If they are decent lights and for with out any modifications they may find me purchasing a few. Lol.

There's a thread about LED lights somewhere back in the archives. Some seem to like them. I've not liked them because it makes the lit object look surreal. There's a reason why car makers only use them as running lights, not as headlamps. Just my opinion, though.

Are you sure they aren't HiD lights? HiD would be much more effective than LED lights.

Another source is Larson lights. Also Tripple R Tractor. He is a Case IH guy but knows his way around lights.

Are they retrofitted for the tractor? Or they need modifications to be mounted?

Remember that any flashing led light needs a led flasher.

We added LED's to our 7060, replaced the stadium lights with 6 27w round lights that I bought on Amazon, and late this fall we replaced the 2 lights on the lower front with 45w dual beam LED's (rectangle) from Larsen lights. You can see very well at night. I don't have pictures of the last lights we put on yet.

Yes.....that's the info in wanting to know. The 8000 work lights have the ball swivel that is part of the light housing that is tightened with a ball clamp. Also the front road lights are fixed with a bolt. So my question is? Has anyone bought the tiger lights or any led hid light for that matter retrofitted for the 6,7, or 8000 series?

It's alot easier on the 7000 series to make a light not retroed due to how they mount. Especially with the stadium lighting design.

I highly recommend switching to LED lights. I have a buddy that runs a small off road shop and has sold a lot of LED light bars and work lights to the local farmers. The light bars are really popular on the green combines in my area. I want to keep the factory look, so he is currently working on getting PAR 36 LED lights and rear stud mounted LED lights for my flat top fenders on my Ford, the same ones Larsen sells. Tiger Lights seem pretty high if you're buying an individual fender light for $115. Based on what I'm told the cost of these lights are, Larsen's prices are pretty good.

After looking at Tiger Lights again, I see they are 40 watt LED lights, which wow, that's some serious light. I can see why they cost a lot more.

there's virtually no loss with an led light so just divide watts by volts to get amps. so 40/13=3.08 amps per light

when buying a light bar, get the curved bar, that spreads the light over a larger area.
-Here was a spur of a moment comparison shot just before I shut my bobcat off one night, was very damp...first is just the incadescent bulbs, second was just the LED bar. which drew less amps than the first.
I replaced the origional incadescent lights now with the square 27 watt LED and use them for lighting up the sides since the light bar lights up the entire front area. I also replaced my back lights too and use far less amps. I like them so far.
Heard that the bugs don't come to these lights as much either.
One thing about the LED is they run so much cooler that if you expect to warm the fingers on them lights in the winter, forget it, it ain't happening. LOL
