The tractor has a leak that is coming out underneath right behind the fly wheel. I'm pretty sure this is hydraulic fluid. I'm not concerned about the hydraulics. If this is hydraulic fluid would that mean that my transmission is also leaking?
Also, I need to check the gear lube. Is the little dipstick on the left side for the gear lube?
Any information about transmission oil or gear lube would be appreciated.
I have the service manual but that doesn't provide any information on this topic.

Thanks, BB.

if ti is behind the flywheel, does it only leak if the engine runs? These tractors are known for the rear main seal on the crank letting go.the hydraulic oil is on the dipstick, the transmission has a square plug on the side, between the frame raile and the housing
