‘Neutral Safety Switch’ on a 94 Ford E4OD, less than 5,000 miles of usage.
$97.41 with tax, from O’Reilly’s. Previous one, last year was purchased from NAPA. Gonna carry a new spare from now on, as this on the Bounder motorhome RV.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

I had a 1966 Honda 305 super Hawk motorcycle that would burn up ignition switches. I soon learned to keep a spare under the seat.

Remember them 305 Super Hawks - I had a 62 Matchless 600cc Typhoon single , my top speed was around 87 MPH but the Super hawk was around 78 . So on take off they would jump ahead but the big single cylinder thumper would pass them easily in a short distance

Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.

Mine topped out at 105 mph. We had the Weldon flats. It was a 2 mile stretch of black top rimming west out of town. The previous owner had knocked the muffler insides out. Oh well, 1968 seems a century ago now.
