I bought a new King Kutter 3 point post hole auger last year with a 9" bit. Worked great for putting in posts around the pig pen and garden. But after about 30-40 holes, the cutting edges are shot. Too many rocks around here I guess.
I went to the dealer and ordered new teeth, but when they came in they looked nothing like the old ones - just straight chisel shapes instead of the serrated type, and two piece (per side) instead of one piece. So I didn't take them, went home and looked on the interweb and can't seem to find anyone that sells anything like what I have. Maybe the originals were just cheap hard plate - the new ones the dealer had looked forged or hardened, but pretty aggressive. Anybody else run into this?
cheers,
Creek
