Never had one but my A2 & F2 run on lower side of 2nd in good corn. 3-30's on the A2 and 4-30's on the F2.This is 180+ bu corn running whole cobs.

I would say 1st gear in good corn. The cleaning shoe is rather small for a 3 row in todays yields. Although our drought stricken corn at our farm you could shell it in road gear!!! Ryan

We ran K2 with 2 row head for years in 150 to 200 bushel corn in second about as fast as we could go if it was dry corn. It would really eat up 15% corn, but above 20% we slowed down considerably.

Used to drive in 2nd at a pretty good clip with the E and 2 row head in 150-180 bu corn but today I'm sure I'd be in 1st with 200 plus corn. A K2 is just a little bigger. Did they make a long shoe K2? That would be better.

K2s cylinder can easy thresh 250+ bpa corn. Especially if aggressive rasp bars are installed. Problem become getting grain from cleaning shoe up to grain tank. Grain moisture dictates much. 24%&higher adds considerable weight to grain. You can add a speed up kit to clean grain elevator. So, 2nd gear is very possible, but grain volume & density will determine variable speed - low or high.

yes 7060 that was our weak link...when the corn was a little wet the clean grain elevator was overloaded....we did not have the speed up kit on it however.
