Get away from the hydrostat units and go with a full mechanical drive machine.  Those pumps and wheel motors are a money pit......

A friend of mine hauls for RDO Equipment. They have about 20 stores. He is the official sprayer hauler. It is a daily job.  Lots of recall on these units. They are trying to get them all done by spring. A few weeks away yet.  They are the no.1 dealer for sprayers for JD. They got piles of them in the field here in big acre country. Used to be alot of AG- Ghem. Now all JD.

I have 1 1200 series Ag Chem and 2 Case IH patriots and a STS Hagie at my plant.  Like the Pariots best.  The company at other branches has 12 JD of various
sizes scattered at different branches.  The ages are up to 3 years old and I've heard no complaints from the other Mgr's and operaters.  I considered a 4930 when we purchased the new Patriot but stuck with what we had used and liked.

We use mainly JD  equipment on dry and liquid application at work . The company bought 8 brand new 4930 units 3 yrs ago . These  machines have been trouble from the start .. engines , hydrostat ..you name it we have broke it .. Our Ag Chems and Patriots .. seem to hold up better .. even tho they are older ... anyone else have issues  with their rigs ?
