Yes, pretty sure it's a 400, late 50s ? The 'sling'? has handles with 'Holmes' cast into them. The base plate is 1/2" thick steel about 4' by 4'..... I just didn't have the heart to have it hauled to China, hoping someone will fit onto a period correct pickup, though I kinda like it on my '97 F150 ! and it'd keep 'them' from wanting to borrow my truck !!

Kinda/sorta looks of the 480 style booms but I don't see that one being heavy enough for the capacity of the series. Do you have the winch? Most of the 480 series had a split drum winch.

It's a single hook unit, no winch, someone had modified for Warn winch ( I was told). Think it might be for a 3T wrecker. I need to do more research on it,but still playing 'real World TETRIS' jamming 3400sqft of stuff into 200 sqft....

Take my approach Jay. I tell Danielle "I've had it for "x" years and it hasn't bothered you yet. Probably shouldn't bother you now". But, be careful. I'm usually wrong
