Maybe there is supposed to be a 1 in front of the number?

Have seen a number of those scam ads showing up on CL with ridiculous prices. Sometimes the wording gives them away.

let's see... considering the cost of shipping to the west coast... yep, I'd still give $4k for that tractor.  Tongue

hahahahahaha
3 Ford 8N's I loan to neighbors, but the '52CA, '41B and little B1 I do not.

There was a newer ford with loader that kept popping up on CL in Kansas City.  Then i found the same tractor on the Janesville Wi site.  THe price was 1500 for what should be a 6000 tractor and loader.  The english gave those away too.  I reported it every time it popped up.  They have quit KC for a while.

I never responded to the Ford ad but I did report it. Neighbor was looking for an IH 706 and found one 100 mi away for a really good price.  They would not let him come look at the tractor though. They agreed to pay for shipping if he got the tractor and didn't like it.  Yeah, Right!
