the old lady....ooooops...i mean my loving wife hauled me off to the ER last wednesday, for difficulty breathing. they hooked me up and found my 0-2 concentration was just right at about 63 %. so that's where i got to stay all week and weekend. the nurses was awesum and the took great care of me. i'm out now, but with a big azzed oxygen machine with a 100 ft hose on it! guess the machine will be on it's own awhile. i sure missed ya'll while i was gawk'in at the nurses!

What?!?!? You didn’t think so much as to pick up your phone, and follow along on what’s going on around here?
Glad your doing better.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Well,I'll just be danged,,,, Good Buddy,,,I was wonderin why you ain't called me alla this time,,,,I KNOW I can't compete with them purdy ladies,,,,,but,,,but   I tell better "stories",,,,,Clap
You know,,,everybody should have one of those little O2/Pulsa testors!! I had to get one for the wife as she developed breathing issues as well,,,and Dr said I had to check her often and a couple of times she wound up in ER cause that little testor told us early. Them Dr types get alarmed when your O2 gets below 90 for sure as PNEUMONIA is possible when that falls much below the 90 number.
I now use it every day especially since I picked up this frigging cough bout 4 weeks ago,,,,,You STAY SAFE,,,you CAN look at them cuties but don't you be doing ANY TOUCHIN,,,!!!Clap

Good that you did not cause to much trouble at the hospital. I have been told the nurseys can get less friendly. Wink

Think you could teach the loving wife let us know when your in trouble. Wink Mostly we would pray for healing of you and only destruction of the pretty machine.

You better be good to them nurses. You don't want them ordering up for you a colonoscopy out of spite. Hope your up running around real soon.

Dang, 63%! That's getting really low. Glad you are back home and doing better. Remember....those nurses don't get mad, they get even. Tell your loving wife to unplug that machine and give it a rest. It's been running too hard lately, I even got a light dusting of pretty at the farm.

X2 on the pulseoximeter that Joe recommended. That can help keep you ahead of the curve and let you know you need to go to the ER. The little fingertip units are fine for home use.

Take care of yourself and don't make your loving wife mad....she might tie a knot in your oxygen hose.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

Been on a ox. machine for years now. With my apnea I'd have dead long ago. They'll really take a lot of stress off your heart, so keep on using it.          Leon
