I bought it at Try Green last week.  It is a light 4 bolt wheel.  I will have to replace that yellow wheel.

Is an Allis Chalmers running gear a hard thing to find? Worth a bunch? The title to your post makes it sound like you have been looking for one for a while...

I dont know, most I have seen have a good hooper bed on them and go for $500 to $1000 + for the biger ones.  I gave $150 for this one.  That was enough for something that I dont need.

$150 was a good price.  I've never seen one bring less than $300 around these parts.  Great save and find!  Going orange is going great!

I ran an Allis five ton gear, Allis flare wagon and Allis hoist to $1300 and didn't get it.  It had two flat tires and the wagon side was pushed in some.
Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.

The flare beds seem to be really scarce. I think I have ever only seen/heard of 3 AC flare wagons ?
