Changing transmission oil in my I 40,any recomendations on what is best oil/wt..
the oil is milky now after running & may have gotten water in it ??,I checked boot that has silicone sealer,it looked okay.
Doing tractor maint. as property is swamp from all of the rain in SNJ

The newer universial Hyd/Trans oil should work fine.
Talk to you AGCO dealer about it.

you can normally get Universl tractor fluid, Trans- hydraulic fluid or HyTrans type fluid at any farm store, or rural WAl Mart stores.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Like others have said, Hytran.  As to the water source, no matter how much silicone it has, a leaky shifter boot is useless.  Sandy Lake has them for $10 or $15 bucks, about the price of the oil you are putting in!
