What is the differances in all the Hydro/tractor oils at TSC?THey have travelers Universal for $42 a bucket,The ISO 46 for $40 and the Accel 303 for $30.What is what?Looking to change everything on my forklift and wondering which one....Hoping the 303 since it si 10 bucks cheaper is ok but 10 bucks won't break the bank if it is one of the others.

Universal is ta hyd and a gear oil, additive package should have things included for shear, pressure and such. Also all additives used in R&O oils.
R&O should have anti-foam addative and anti-oxidants plus some water dispersal .

Hi, I have an old AC 816 backhoe and if I am reading all this correctly about the hydrolic fluid, I should be safe in using the tractor 303 oil in the hydrolics instead of what they call for of 30 WT oil. Correct???? Sometimes I can't interpret correctly. Brain dead!!!!
I appreciate the help.

Yes the universal fluid works good as hydraulic and as replacement for the motor oils called for in other than engine use. On final drives where a heavy oil is called for I would check further before replacing 90 / 120 gear lube (GL5) or such . Some people have used it but a choice each has to make on own .
